10.6.5 update for OSX Server is available and it has quite some updates to the Podcast Producer service. - improved setup of Podcast Producer service when bound to an Active Directory server- preventing Podcast Capture from always storing passwords in keychain
- reliability of Web Podcast Capture
- stopping Podcast Producer recordings with remote cameras
- reliability of connections between Podcast Producer server with remote cameras
- Podcast Producer workflows publishing to a wiki page with an Active Directory account
- synchronization of audio and video output from Podcast Producer workflows which include intro videos or titling or transitions
If you are one of those sysadmins who have manually altered workflows to correct an audio sync issue, you might want to recheck and maybe undo that after installing this update. It looks like the sync issues have been resolved, but I have not been able to confirm that yet in tests.
